Providence Supporting People News
We are proud to announce that Tamara Mellon (founder of Jimmy Choo shoes and
bags) and Chris Difford (Squeeze, Singer, Songwriter) both support our
charity and are patrons of it.
We currently work intensively with family members but we shall be taking this to a new level by starting our new 'FAMILY FUTURES' programme.
As we draw to the end of 2009 we're looking forward to an exciting 2010 during which we hope to treat more clients than ever. Below are just a few events we have planned:-
The release of the first album of songs written by clients of The Providence Projects. This is being written by Chris Difford (Squeeze - Cool for Cats, Up the Junction etc) in collaboration with some of our current clients and members of staff. It then goes into the studio for what we hope will be an April release.
The release of this will coincide with the official launch of our new charity. You can donate NOW however we're going to put on a series of events during the year, the first one being in April..... so watch this space for details.
